The Restaurant

Freedom Inn proudly launches its restaurant this year under the stewardship of Chef Kazuhiko Fukushima, a native of Niseko with 30 years experiencee in preparing delicious French and Italian-inspired delights with his culinary team using the best of Hokkaido's natural ingredients.  The Freedom Inn Restaurant is open to guests of the hotel and from outside for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a special Brunch service every Sunday.

Dinner options include both carefully balanced courses and a hearty a la carte menu from which patrons can choose innovative pastas and pizzas, delicately seasoned fish and meats and always a vegetarian option on hand.  Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. through 11:00 p.m. with last orders taken at 9:30 p.m.

Lunchtime presents gourmet pastas, soups and stews for a tranquil refresher after a full morning on the slopes.  Serving 11:30 a.m until 2:00 p.m. drive on over or ski down to the base of Hanazono.  We will pick you up in front of Hanazono 308 if you prefer (call us), or build up your appetite with a quick 10-minute walk from the base lodge.  Kicking off boots for a more leisurely afternoon with some hot wine or cocoa is also an apertif option.

Sunday brunch is served from 10:30 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. every week.  Classic dishes such as eggs benedict and egg-white omlettes are supplemented with special innovations by Chef Fukushima each week.  The traditional weekend soujourn may be completed with a glass of sparkling wine or Mimosa, if one so pleases.

The Restaurant at Freedom Inn is on call for pick-ups all day long from the Hanazono 308 base and it runs an hourly shuttle to and from Hirafu in the evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  The Restaurant is closed each Tuesday; however, the we will be operating on Tuesday, December 30, 2008.
